This small game is all about firefighting. Forest fires specifically to be precise.
It draws heavy inspiration from the forest fire in the very first Sim City game which I played on the Amiga 500 when I was a teenager and the unit distribution in Sim City 2 (on PC). I wanted to play a game like that ever since.
You see what I mean 🙂
This is a non-commercial short indie game that you will be able to play through in around 30 minutes or less. You will be responsible for securing 9 areas ranging from forests to small towns to cities. There is an interesting choice to make between cutting down forests to prevent fires and rescuing as much forest as you can.
It was done 100% by me besides using beautiful illustrations from https://lornn.itch.io/ for the level brief and the background art of the main screen by Zoya Schultz. The game came to reality using Stencyl.
