Code 77 is a science fiction grotesque full of quotes and memories of the great utopian novels of yesteryear. Whether Kafka or George Orwell, whether Huxley or Orson Wells, Code 77 resonates with everything, and yet it ends up being something of its own. The story of Mr. K., in a world he does not understand. A world that demoted him to the mere plaything of others. And neither his friend Paul nor “the bride” can help him escape his predetermined fate.
